Su Discusses Life As A Scientist For 'Women In STEM'
Judith Su, assistant professor of biomedical engineering and optical sciences recently appeared on the Women In STEM YouTube series, where she discussed her research on biophotonics and biochemistry. She also spoke about how her dad, a mechanical engineering professor who encouraged her to always ask questions about the unknown, inspired her to become a scientist.
"The best part about being a scientist is that I get to explore this fantastic, unknown world with my team and my imagination, and that we can communicate our issues with other scientists," Su said in the video.
Women in STEM is a video series created by the Partnership for Clean Competition to help inspire new generations of science lovers. Su's lab recently completed a project on detecting sport doping agents which was funded by the Partnership for Clean Competition.
