Celebrate Club Successes

BME-Specific Opportunities

  • Benefit from lab tours, industry speakers, undergraduate research seminars and community outreach events in the Biomedical Engineering Society.
  • Get design experience in the Medical Device Club.
  • The Biomedical Undergraduate Mentoring Program offers underclassman advice and support.
  • The Arizona Surgery Club, housed in the College of Medicine, is open to all students.

Professional Organizations

  • The American Medical Association represents the unified voice of physicians and students throughout the United States, and sets the standards for the medical profession nationwide.
  • The Society for Biomaterials promotes advances in research and development by encouraging cooperative educational programs, clinical applications and professional standards.

Leadership Development

  • Find out how to get involved in the Engineering Student Council, the college's student governing body.
  • Members of the UA chapter of Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honor Society, uphold and advance the integrity, honor and dignity of the engineering profession.
  • Engineering Ambassadors represent the College of Engineering at recruitment, industry and alumni events. They lead campus and lab tours and participate in student panels.
  • Interested in an academic career? The UA's American Society for Engineering Education chapter explores engineering education through service, research and professional development.

Service Oriented

  • CATalyst does fun STEM outreach with local elementary, middle and high school students.
