Engineering recognizes student, teaching assistant excellence

At an event held in the University of Arizona Student Union Memorial Center on April 8, the College of Engineering honored 17 undergraduate seniors, nine graduate students, and 10 teaching assistants in recognition of top performance in academics and research.
"Today, we get to celebrate you and everything you've accomplished," said David W. Hahn, the Craig M. Berge Dean of the college.
The College recognized several BME students and teaching assistants. Honorees included seniors Ethan Lin and Lucas Mellinger, graduate student Gerardo Figueroa and teaching assistant Lin Li.
“What stood out most was Gerardo’s genuine passion for research and his drive to make a real impact – both in the lab and beyond," said Shang Song, Frank L. and Daphna Lederman Professor and BME assistant professor.
