The McCarthy Building Companies is one of 43 businesses looking to fill internships and full-time jobs at the 34th iExpo.

More than 625 students took part in the annual iExpo at the University of Arizona on Feb. 5. iExpo is hosted by the Engineering Student Council and encourages networking between students and industry partners to bolster career pathways.

Now in its 34th year, iExpo brought 43 companies to the U of A campus, including College of Engineering supporters like Honeywell and Caterpillar Inc.

“iExpo plays a huge role in career readiness,” said Devin Strand, a biomedical engineering junior who spoke to Epic, an electronic health records leader, and manufacturing company W.L. Gore & Associates in pursuit of an internship.

“It strengthened my communication skills and professional confidence.”
