ABSTRACT: Universities are a source of tremendous amounts of discovery and innovation. Every day, faculty and students like yourselves are contributing to a body of knowledge. Because of your research at the UA, we can bring lifesaving treatments, diagnostics, surgical/research tools and many other medical solutions to those in need. The tech transfer office at the UA, Tech Launch Arizona (TLA), is comprised of a team of people with backgrounds in the life sciences, engineering, intellectual property, licensing and business/venture development. As a team, TLA’s mission is to facilitate the bringing together of the University of Arizona community and local and regional ecosystems to make a better world by moving inventions stemming from university research and technological innovation into the marketplace where they can create lasting social and economic impact. Find out how you can become engaged with Tech Launch and a part of this process.
