"Investigation of Polymer and Polymer-Ceramic Materials for the Development of 3D Printed Bone Sensate Scaffold"
Abstract: Critical size bone defects require surgical intervention, as current treatments—autografts and allografts—have limitations in availability and effectiveness. 3D-printed scaffolds present a promising alternative for bone regeneration, offering tunable properties and real-time load monitoring via integrated sensors. This talk will explore the use of biomimetic, mechanically sensitive PBT scaffolds in a sheep model, assessing their role in healing and polymer-ceramic composite materials for scaffold development.

"Bio-Integrated Electronics: Wireless, Battery-Free Platforms for Seamless, Continuous Health Monitoring"
Abstract: The future of healthcare relies on biosymbiotic electronics—skin-conformal, wireless, battery-free devices designed for continuous health monitoring. This seminar will discuss the integration of osseosurface electronics, a new class of implantable bioactive devices for long-term bone health tracking. Additionally, edge AI capabilities in these platforms enhance real-time analysis and decision-making, paving the way for next-generation medical technology.
