Biomedical engineering graduate student Cassidy Mannier is working at the UA Center for Innovation on the UACI Intern Team, which pairs students with researchers.
Mannier, one of five women comprising the current intern team, is using her time at UACI to work on a trading card company.
"I like exploring industries I'm unfamiliar with: I got to learn all about the world of trading cards with my current startup, Ambr Grading," Mannier said.
The UACI Intern Team is supported with funds from the U.S. Small Business Administration and Wells Fargo.
